| The new Bedfordshire Golf Club was opened by Laura Davies C.B.E.
on Saturday September 30th 2000, and provides a facility that caters for everyone who is
interested in the game. This new complex is less than 2 miles from the old course and is
situated just outside Stagsden village, off the A422 Bedford - Milton Keynes Road, about 3
miles west of Bedford. The Club is the oldest in Bedfordshire and celebrated
