| The Course was established in 1920 when the famous professional
golfer & golf course architect Ted Ray was employed. He ensured excellent use of
the natural features & contours. Improvements were suggested & implemented
by HS Colt in 1925 with the current layout, excepting eventual boundary changes by the
local authority, retaining much of its originality. |
