Comments
Warrington Golf Club was founded in 1903 and the course was designed by James Braid.   Since this time, both course and clubhouse have witnessed many alterations, not least to the 18th hole, which was changed from a par-5 to a par-4 from the men's tees in the 1990s.  The clubhouse was also renovated during this period. Regarded as having one of the finest opening holes in Cheshire from the back tees, Warrington offers a tough start for any player. Usually played with an assisting tailwind, a good drive will leave a mid to long iron into a fairly large green. The hole yields very few birdies and a par-4 is a solid start to your round.
