Marlborough
Golf Club is set in the beautiful Marlborough Downs with spectacular views over the rural
Wiltshire countryside. Founded in 1888, the back 9 holes are played on 114 year old turf,
giving that springiness only very old courses can offer. The course presents a
good challenge to the low handicapper - the Wiltshire Professional Championship has been
held at Marlborough for the last 11 years - at the same time as providing a fair test for
men and ladies with higher handicaps. The spectacular Club House includes a self-contained
business and conference suite, making it an ideal venue for business meetings, possibly
combined with a round of golf or a sumptuous lunch or dinner. But what distinguishes
Marlborough most is the friendliness of its staff and members. Whether it's golf or
