The parkland of Lipica is
situated to the north of Triest, barely a mile beyond the Italian frontier, and some three
miles frm Sezana.
It is a green oasis amid the tipical Karst landscape shaded by a hundred year's old lime
and oak trees reaching to the blue Mediterranen skies and sheltering the noble Lipizzaner
horses - the white pearls of the Slovenian Karst.
In the heart of the vast expanse of the Lipica estate there is a golf course with nine
holes built in 1989, another masterpice of the famous golf architect, mr. Donald
Harradine.
